Half of the earth’s population lives in cities and that number is still increasing. For one thing, it will lead to the city’s inhabitants creating, forced or of out of free will, autonomous zones/city islands. A universal phenomenon portrayed in image and text in the book City Island Real Estate, which will be launched in style in one of Eindhoven’s ‘city islands’.

Subwalk will highlight the Belgian town Doel.  This community is slowly turning into a ghost town as a result of the depopulation of the countryside. Only a few civilians are still living in this village with its boarded-up houses

Bundled in a magazine, Club Donny will display a photo-overview of the personal experience of nature in an urban environment.

Dynamic food, a food-zone with a focus on products and the stories of local Eindhoven farmers (as such slowly disappearing from the Netherlands), will compose a dinner during which the products can be sampled.
