DDW is a renowned international Design event held in Eindhoven, the influential city in the Netherlands in the field of Dutch Design.

DDW offers a state-of-the-art mix of new talents and established designers from the Netherlands and around the world, who all of them engage in substantive cooperation with the Netherlands.

DDW offers unparalleled design ideas and insightful solutions for design communities and producers.

DDW Selection committee provides a well-balanced event that is inspiring for the visitor, the participant and the producer.

New applications will be assessed by co-curators Roland Bird and Marijn van der Poll and participants manager Katja Lucas. Within a month there will be contact concerning the result of the application.

The selection committee provides a well-balanced event that is inspiring for the visitor, the participant and the producer. They aim to select participants and products that contain elements characterised by the following criteria:

  • The design has to be original and imaginative
  • Forms and materials have to support the function of the product
  • The design has to be in line with the basic principles of Dutch Design Week.
