Halo is a stackable chair with a 100 percent ecological seat shell. The sandwich material of the seat shell uses renewable raw materials such as hemp-fiber which are pressed with a natural binding agent to form solid structures.
An adhesive, made of lime and protein is used as a bonding agent to press hemp-fiber and hemp-hurds into solid forms. The concept exemplifies the strengths and the formal possibilities of this light and resistant material.
