As part of the European Design Upgrade (EDU) project, Urban Mill co-created and tested in Espoo Innovation Garden a new internationally scalable place-based innovation concept, which bridges startups and creatives by a holistic Creative Ecosystem Acceleration process.

Creatives often face challenges in building sustainable business models for delivering their competences to the market. On the other hand many startups stick too much to their initial offering concepts and don’t use complementary competences when pivoting
