Project introduces the process of creating fabrics, colors and clothes in a sustainable way. I draw from nature and forgotten craft practices and combine them with modern knowledge and ecology issue.

Inspired by history, I rediscover the power of natural colors that soothe our senses and nature.

Plants Traces is a project about creating with care and consent with nature. Using local materials and plants, but also any organic waste that we produce. It all can be used for the local fashion industry, to design textiles, garments and upcycling existing cloths. I am passionate about form and color. I am inspired by history and forgotten dress practices. I use various tailoring techniques and natural dyeing of fabrics as upcycling tools. I believe in the second life of things, what for others is waste, for me is a great raw material. Learning from history, I rediscover the power of natural colors that soothe our senses. Natural dyeing is an ecological method that allows you to create an endless number of patterns and color variants. Each plant leaves its unique color mark on the fabric. I create an organic story by composing patterns with the touch of leaves, flowers, herbs, fruits, roots and bark. I’m trying to redesign the fashion industry, giving the opportunity to choose more ecological solutions and appreciate craftsmans work.
