Atelier Golden Koi produces zero waste garments for kids that are playful and gender neutral. From popular festivities in Brazil, and respect for nature, comes the inspiration for timeless, modern, minimalistic, and desirable pieces. Items are produced by order, so there is no over-production.

Zero Waste Overalls

When a garment is produced it produces waste. The average amount of fabric that is wasted is 15% when garments are cut and made. When you discard your clothes (whether they are still good or not) only 8% is reused, 10% recycled, 25% incinerated, and 57% dumped in landfills.
Atelier Golden Koi was born to show that change is possible. To produce zero waste garments for kids that are playful, beautiful and desirable.
Zero Waste Design is not a new ideia. We have examples throughout history: kimonos, sarongs, kilts, ponchos, saris, kaftans, peasant clothes, norse/viking clothes.
From this ancient range of garments and the feeling of respect for every person and their work on this supply chain (farmers, producers, etc) comes the inspiration for timeless, modern, minimalistic, and gender neutral pieces.
All items are produced by order, so no stock or over-production. The production is fully local, designed and constructed using organic fabrics from certified European manufacturers.
