A tangible memory of someone who is no longer with us.
This project has to do with the death of my own grandfather, it helps to process mourning. Most clothing is thrown away when someone dies. For relatives, this is often the hardest part to say goodbye to, because clothes are often the last tangible pieces left. By processing that clothing into an object, it will help with the mourning process, because it remains tangible. The beautiful memories carried to the item of clothing worn, such as someone's favorite shirt from her wedding dress. In this way, the object will be a recognition and/or commemoration. The most important thing about this object is that the next of kin recognize the memory.
