The project investigates how the process of hand-blown glassmaking can shape new approaches to contemporary production. Rather than pursuing identical results, it values the individuality of each piece that emerges from the dialogue between the maker and the material. The work reflects a belief that the future of making lies in small-scale, authentic production, where control is balanced with the natural behaviour of molten glass.
Through repeated experiments with form, thickness and the natural flow of glass, every object reveals subtle differences that speak of its origin and process. These variations are not flaws but essential qualities that highlight the honesty of the craft. The project builds on centuries of glassmaking tradition while rethinking how it can exist in today’s context — not as repetition of the past, but as a living practice that continues to evolve through experimentation and the human hand.
