Structural Simplicity

Tobias Berg showcases two distinct chairs: Kvitre and Stillas.

Kvitre is a low sling chair crafted from steel and thick leather. Its construction is reduced to the bare essentials — no upholstery, no hidden fixings — just material tension and structural clarity.

Stillas is an architectural lounge chair with a bold stainless steel frame, where every screw is visible and intentional. The seat, backrest, armrests, and underframe brace are all made from warm walnut. Its slightly adjustable backrest adds a surprising layer of comfort to its otherwise strict silhouette.

Both designs reflect Berg’s ongoing pursuit of structural clarity, refined simplicity, and material honesty. These are market-ready prototypes currently seeking new producers, galleries, or buyers for future collaborations.
