Most smartphones are sealed shut and built for the next upgrade. The Fairphone (Gen. 6+) is designed to stay: modular, repairable and made with fairer, recycled materials. Screws over glue. Replace parts, not the whole phone. Yours to open. Yours to keep.

The smartphone. Reimagined.

Most smartphones are sealed shut, difficult to repair and built for the next upgrade. The Fairphone (Gen. 6+) begins with a different design principle:
Yours to open. Yours to keep.
Screws over glue. Modules can be replaced. Fairer, recycled materials, working conditions and living wages matter. Longevity starts with design, continues through sourcing and production, and proves itself in years of use.
Launches create hype. Upgrade cycles turn novelty into habit. Good products can feel old before they stop working. Design has the power to change this.
The Fairphone is made to do just that.
