Italian Design Day
On behalf of The Embassy of Italy in the Hague, the Italian Trade Agency, and the Italian Cultural Institute, we are pleased to invite you to the seminar “From Vertical Forests to Nature-Based Cities – Scaling Nature-Based Solutions from Green Buildings to Inclusive, Climate-Resilient Neighbourhoods” to celebrate the 10th edition of Italian Design Day.
Together with international experts in the field, we will explore how we can move from using nature as an architectural element in buildings towards nature-inclusive urban development.
During the seminar, we will explore how Nature-Based Solutions can contribute to greater biodiversity and ecological infrastructure, inclusive and affordable urban development, a healthier living environment for both people and nature, and a new generation of NatureBased Cities.
Featuring inspiring perspectives from the fields of architecture, social housing, landscape architecture, ecology and urban resilience.
How can we translate the lessons from one iconic building into strategies for entire neighbourhoods and cities?
