During DDW26 at Burgers, a temporary space take place to share and invite people around a social and sustainable experimentation around up cycling. A collection of clothes and objects made from discarded materials : an alternative storytelling.

Rebellion, Hope and Delicacy

Grounded in different mediums : hairstyling, clothes creation, sewing, daily-life objects, The Purple Show talks about issues : extractivism, mass production, ecological damages and genocides. Against that, our collective event adopt a positionnement against it, by creation, denunciation and by developing and alternative : a proof that it can be made differently.

The Purple Space

During Dutch Design Week 2026, Burgers transforms into a sustainable fashion center : a place where people can experiment with their appearance by getting a haircut, by a handmade original outfit, by watching the fashion shows or participating in the sustainable-fashion workshops organised during the week.
