How to T.O.C.
How to T.O.C.
Plura Studio
Through one of the Nul Zes back doors, we reopen our experimental space to those who value good interaction with objects that are designed to touch.

A TEXTIL SYNTHESIZER?!

We are presenting for the first time our approach to sound in an immersive installation that invites you get in touch with the basic electronic music fundamentals. During the week you can experience possible connections between light and sound through objects designed for physical contact with textil, steel frames and electro hardware.

What is TOC?

Touch Of Connection (T.O.C.) is a design project that explores how objects can create meaningful relationships through the sense of touch. By working with textures and familiar, intuitive gestures, interaction becomes a central and valuable element of each piece.

T.O.C. starts from the belief that touch is never isolated: it naturally connects with other senses, memories, and emotions. The project continuously investigates how physical interaction can influence behavior, perception, and the way we emotionally relate to everyday objects.

Designed to Be Touched

From hand-bent circular steel tubes and textiles developed for long-term care, to carefully engineered electronics, the pieces are centered on creating playful moments that invite reflection on our daily interactions with common material objects.

These pieces are designed to be lived with. Through daily use, they aim to nurture a renewed sense of care for the material world, inviting attention to the textures and surfaces that surround us.

By training our sense of tactility, we reconnect with sensing through our skin, reminding ourselves of the importance of physical contact as a way to slow down, observe, and build more conscious relationships with objects.

About Plura Studio

Just above this exhibition is our studio, where we develop objects and ways of interacting that respond to the problems created by today’s fast-paced consumer culture. We design things to become part of everyday life, objects whose repeated use can create a sense of familiarity, attachment. Through these daily interactions, we aim to remind people of the value of the material world around us, encouraging to appreciate, maintain and care for the things we choose to live with.
