Perspectives on change
The Design Innovation Sessions explore the major transitions we as a society are facing, and the role creative industries can play in driving them. Across five days, you will hear fresh perspectives from leading researchers and creative pioneers, discover bold projects tackling urgent challenges, and connect with others who are in design and innovation. As part of the Mission Days, this curated programme is designed for professionals who want to be inspired and exchange ideas on real change.
Transitions shaping our future
The Health & Well-being session focuses on the question: what happens when we redesign not only care practices, but also the systems that shape how we age, heal, and live together? Design plays a key role in enabling healthier lives for all. Together we will explore how design-driven research can question dominant norms and accelerate systemic transitions in health and well-being. This session will be a mix of current big design questions, cutting-edge research, and pioneering projects that offer new insights and deliver solutions that work. Expect a morning full of inspiration and practical takeaways, all wrapped up with a delicious networking lunch.
Be there
Among the speakers are Fiona Jongejans, who will share about the approach of the brand new project SINO (translated: System Interventions with Impact for New Elderly Care), that focuses on how design can contribute to fundamental system change in a care landscape under pressure. How can we move beyond isolated pilots, and toward sustainable system impact? More speakers will be announced soon.
