Art design as a language for connection and understanding
In Hare Gatherings, trauma carriers, their professionals and loved ones together seek connection, through sound, words and images for what usually keeps unspoken. In collaboration with GGZ Drenthe, Centrum voor Transitie, and Vereniging Caleidoscoop, 'Mijn naam is haas' developed a new type of meeting at the intersection of healthcare, art design and experiential expertise.
In the workshop on 23-10 from 10-13.00 at Natlab, we will learn from this initiative and explore what is needed to set up something similar ourselves. Ingredients include experiential art, creative methods, and unexpected collaborations with health parties. The Agis Innovation Fund has supported the Hare Gatherings and, through its new theme call, invites parties to submit a grant application with the mentioned components.
