Interactive meetup

What to do about the new threat of war? Take it seriously? Avoid it? Why would you flee? What if you don't flee, but the rest of your family does? What can we learn from Ukraine in this regard?

Security is not just a physical and technical issue. In times of war, relationships change and there is a common enemy. Contact between family members is strengthened. And put to the test. But the connection with nature and culture is also strengthened.

What are the expectations and scenarios for the future of Ukraine? Of Europe? Of the Netherlands, perhaps? What are diplomats and researchers taking into account?

Karel Burger Dirven - 1st Honorary Consul of Ukraine to the Netherlands
Esselien van Eerten - Deputy Ambassador of The Netherlands in Kyiv in ‘22-’25
Julia Soldatiuk - senior researcher EU foreign and security policy with a focus on Ukraine at the Clingendael Institute
Moderator - Fulco Treffers
