Action-packed gallery with new works, screenprints, tapestries, and artistic collabs in full bloom.
This year marks 25 years of design adventures for Kiki & Joost — time to celebrate ‘In Action’! Expect a vibrant mix of new autonomous works and joyful collabs with fellow artists, partners and friends. Kiki van Eijk presents “Memories of a Garden,” a new series of tapestries developed at the Dutch Textile Museum, inspired by her residency in the mobile garden atelier of longtime friend Marc Mulders — one of the Netherlands' most celebrated painters. His expressive, abstract paintings will be shown alongside her tapestries. Meanwhile, Kiki & Joost team up with artist Diederik Verbakel (*DIED*) for a bold, colorful collection of screenprinted wearables and productions. Live screen print sessions will pop up throughout the week (check socials!). Joost van Bleiswijk dives deep into today’s tensions with a raw new series: paint and clay are blasted from a custom air gun, capturing emotion through action. Come for the beauty, stay for the energy, leave inspired.
Please note!
The last weekend a selection of works can only be seen at the entrance of Klokgebouw ‘Creating our living environment’ & ‘Achieving our equal society’.
Opening dates: 18th through 26nd October 11:00-18:00
