LOST FORM WORK by Jordan van der Ven aka JORDAN ARTISAN (NL Nijmegen 1979). For these pieces Jordan found inspiration in precast concrete and formwork. Jordan is the son of a architectural draughtsman and visited many construction sites in his youth. And he uses all kinds of building materials in his furniture designs. One of them is EPS, a material Jordan used a lot for sculpting. In this case, Jordan follows form and function by creating sculptures that look lost or left from a construction site. The pieces are constructed with cement, mesh and have a acrylic and 2k finish to make it aesthetic and functional as a garden* or interior sculpture.
