Slow down

Re-charge #2 Live takes place in a tranquil installation, an elongated space made of quilts, a soundscape that invites silent listening and contemplative lingering.

Due to today's compulsive communication media, silence and stillness are becoming increasingly rare. The ritual of attentive listening forms a community without communication, for one is united only in silence.

This is the essence of the installation. Sound, music, and poetry help the visitor slow down to a moment of stillness that transforms being-in-the-world into being-at-home.
