About

This event will be in Dutch.

In recent years, digitization has become a higher priority in The Hague. For example, the Rutte IV cabinet appointed a minister for Digital Affairs, and in 2021 and 2023, various parties signed the "Digitaal Stembusakkoord". On October 29, the Netherlands will once again head to the polls for the Tweede Kamerverkiezingen. How will parties and candidates commit to digitization in the Netherlands in the coming years?

During this afternoon program, politicians from various parties will have the opportunity to present their perspectives. How will the Netherlands position itself in relation to Big Tech? What role should AI and algorithms play and How can their usage be organized in a responsible and transparent manner? And how can we ensure that citizens and civil society organizations remain represented in these major technological decisions?

For the event we will gather input from the public. For more information: https://stemmenuitdesamenleving.nl/
