Polestar Design Rides
During DDW over thirty Polestar Design Rides will drive throughout Eindhoven. These are electric cars that transport an estimated 60,000 visitors between DDW locations in ~18,000 rides. During Dutch Design Week (DDW), more than thirty Polestar Design Rides will travel around Eindhoven. Over nine days, the electric cars will make approximately 18,000 journeys, transporting around 60,000 visitors to and from the various DDW locations. This makes travelling through the city part of the DDW experience.
Each Polestar Design Ride carries a special object on its roof, created by a DDW participant. These striking objects transform the cars into a travelling exhibition, making design visible throughout Eindhoven. Along the way, you will not only discover the city but also get a preview of the ideas and perspectives coming together at DDW.
