DDW Talks | Bio Design

The Bio Design Talk gets you up to speed on the rapidly-developing field of Bio Design. Discover the difference between designing with nature and designing new nature. The Bio Design Talks is established and curated by Next Nature Network. The day will be moderated by Ruben Baart, editor in chief of Next Nature Network. All DDW Talks are English spoken.

Digital Wednesday | Exploring the edges of Digital Design

Digital Wednesday's annual celebration of digital design & arts showcasing the hottest and most relevant work across this creative field. This years edition Daan Klaver, Amber-Jae Slooten and Frank Vogt are featured as guest speakers. So discover, amaze, laugh, learn, inspire, talk and drink with Digital Wednesday.

Responsibility in Engineering Life | Talks

BioArt Laboratories presents two talks in collaboration with TU Delft and IDEA League about Responsibility in Engineering Life. Laurens Landeweerd is a philosopher who holds a position as assistant professor at Radboud University’s Institute for Science in Society. Laurens will discuss the relation between nature and technology. Amalia Kallergi is a researcher, educator and maker with a natural tendency to blur and cross disciplinary boundaries. Amalia has been investigating the role of bioart, DIY-biology and games as platforms of participation in the societal debate surrounding biotechnology.
