A sustainable fashion project where feminine and masculine collides in forms and elements.

I took my fascination for woman and tried to make outfits where woman can feel safe and sexy in by combining super feminine pieces with masculine elements. In our society we produce a lot of thrash. I also try to let people see the beauty again in things people no longer see as a beautifull

Soof Maria Stoop, sustainable fashion design, where feminine meets masculine

How would our relationships with clothes change if we would know that it would stay in our lifes for decades?
Then we have to figure out how to take good care of the clothes so the clothes can take care of us too.
Thats what our grandparents did, they saw the value of the clothes and they would wear the clothes for years. The most sustainable you can be is by using what we allready have. thats why i for one outfit i used my granddads old blouses, to give them a new life with a new value.
I got inspired by woodcutter blouses. I tried to transform it into femine patterns and shapes combined with masculine vibe.

In our society we create things to be simply thrown away, in our society we produce a lot of thrash. We forget that they can be usefull ir reusable and in this small collection i try to let people see the beauty again in thing people no longer see as beautifull. I only used torn second hand clothes. Sustainibility is the most important thing in my work and this project. What if we would change out vieuw? I saw the different colours, shape and textures, i saw fabric i imagine their beauty and create from it and then also want to make woman feel safe in the clothes that i make. For the other outfit i only used old football tshirt because growing up with only woman by my side, football was something far away from me and linked to masculinity. The last outfit was inspired on a man office outfit but then a little bit more feminine and sexy. Being a woman in the society you feel a lot like youre an object or people are only looking at your body so for some extra empowerment there is a little suprise under the outfit ;)
