New perspectives for biobased design

From plant, land to building. Biobased materials are being developed and tested by designers, architects and the construction industry. Still, these experiments could use a push. With the annual Ruud van Berkel Award, Heembouw offers designers that opportunity. During this event, all participants in the award will pitch their idea and vision on biobased materials, after which we will announce the winner of this edition. This winner wins a project and collaboration with Heembouw: the perfect springboard for innovation and practice.

In addition to the presentations of the entries, you will get to know previous living lab winners and we will sketch a new perspective on biobased design and construction.
