Hier Ben Ik. is a project about the value of youth culture in Eindhoven, which is made and designed for and by young people. By means of culture probes, 15 young people map out and create a dialog about how they experience being young in Eindhoven by means of a photo expo.
The value of youth culture
Eindhoven is at the start of a huge leap forward, just like it happened with Philips 100 years ago. The city is going to change enormously and literally skyrocket. But not everyone is positive about this change. What will be the place of young people in the future Eindhoven?
With this project we start a conversation with young people about the future of the city, about what it means to be young and to be able to develop yourself into who you want to be. This results in a photo exhibition, in which personal photos and stories create the dialogue between young people, youth culture and the visitor.
