The future

The future needs more self-reliance and circular systems to thrive. That is where Open Makerspaces come in – to teach new generations how to survive using knowledge, skills and a maker mindset.

Makerspaces are collaborative hubs for creating and learning with various tools.
They foster a community culture that supports innovation and education.
Starting in a makerspace can lead to exploring new projects and developing valuable skills.

About MAD emergent art center

MAD emergent art center is a non-profit organization that strives to democratize technology, initiate interdisciplinary innovation and promote social creativity with artists and scientists as a catalyst.

We unlock new technologies and make them available and creatively applicable to people and society. We do this by creating encounters and establish cooperation, as a laboratory, with technical and creative industries and other domains, makers, thinkers and groups from society.
