XPENG believes that mobility goes beyond cars

XPENG has been founded in 2014 by a group of entrepreneurs with a shared vision to transform the future mobility with technology. Until today Smart Technology is the cornerstone of our foundation. That’s also why our slogan is Intelligently Moving Your World. XPENG has been founded only 10 years ago. So, we are still a very young company in the automotive landscape. Only three years later our first car has been presented and in 2021 we started in Norway. That was our first step into the European market. After Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands followed, and we also opened our European HQ in Amsterdam. XPENG created also its Smart EV and Mobility ecosystem with important partners like Volkswagen Group, the Chinese tech company Alibaba, and Didi the Chinese Uber equivalent. With this ecosystem in mind we now have a global footprint with offices all over the world. We think that future mobility goes beyond cars, therefore our business unit AeroHT focuses on the development of smart flying vehicles. Vehicles that can drive where it can, and fly if there is no road anymore. In 2025 the first flying vehicle will be commercialised on those markets where it is allowed to fly.

Smart Technology

Technology is in the DNA of the XPENG brand. All our existing models are frequently updated over the air. In these updates Xmart technology, features in the operational system and autonomous driving systems are upgraded. Existing XPENG customers are invited to test beta versions of the software updates and their feedback is taken into account in the development of the final software update. A relevant advantage for customers is that their car is updated over the air and they don't need to go to the workshop to receive valuable upgrades of their electric car.

EV Excellence

Due to the 800V SEPA platform with integrated batteries, XPENG belongs to the fastest charging car brands in the world. Recharging the battery from 10% to 80% costs less than 20 minutes. In the Norwegian 2024 NAF-tests (Norwegian Automotive Federation) both XPENG G6 and XPENG G9 were top 3 in terms of charge capacity and real reach compared to WLTP. XPENG sells only full electric smart EV's. Compared to petrol vehicles, XPENG EVs yearly reduce emissions over entire lifecycle by 1 million tonnes of CO2.
