Het Beun Collectief

We are a design collective, a group of Industrial Design students. Within “Het Beun Collectief” we work on personal and collaborative projects.

Our atelier serves as a workshop for a collective of various qualities and interests. As the projects vary so much, as do our visions. From building Speakers to welded furniture. We provide an experimental building environment in which we learn and develop, and form ourselves as designers.

Welcome to Het Beun Collectief

Founded in pursuit of a workshop space, Het Beun Collectief is a design collective which hosts many different ideas. It houses a space where we as a group of Industrial Design students can work on design projects, start our own companies, and throughout this process develop, and learn from each other.

During the Dutch Design Week, our studio will be open to public, and there will be a exhibition of personal and collaborative projects. With these projects we will be presenting a variety of skills and styles, and the diversity in interests can be seen as well. Although these areas of expertise and opposites in interest cohabit in the same space, they do not collapse. It creates an interesting space which hosts opportunities to learn other approaches and develop skills.

Come and visit us at the Dutch Design Week, have a chat, a look, a feel, and maybe even learn something new.

About

Het Beun Collectief, is a collective startup that started in spring 2024, with Industrial Design students from the TU/e. What started as a search for a workshop to work on personal projects, grew into a collaborative design space, filled with machines and tools. A space where we are able to learn, help, and motivate each other, within our projects, studies, and companies.
