Panorama Ukraine: Recovery by Design

Panorama Ukraine is a collective research by design project to dream and plan Ukrainian recovery.

From Panorama Netherlands to Panorama Ukraine

The original Panorama Netherlands project began as a dream for a country pushing ahead of others, aiming to rediscover itself while facing global challenges through research by design. Now, five years later, Dutch experts are rediscovering this methodology alongside their Ukrainian colleagues to help heal a wounded Ukraine. Together, they are building a new dream for Ukraine's recovery, drawing methodological lessons that can benefit other countries in need of rebuilding.

Vision

Panorama Ukraine explores resilience in the areas of water, housing, mobility, energy, governance, circular economy, biodiversity, and agriculture. Within these themes, it is developing a series of events to distil an integral methodology to connect long-term goals and strategies with short-term needs and emergencies. Panorama Ukraine co-creates knowledge, experiences and practices developed in EU countries, in particular in the Netherlands, and builds on these insights to create a vision and strategies for the future of Ukraine.
