Transnatural presents: Invisible Matters

Exploring the unseen nature

Due to centuries of anthropogenic acts, much life, above and below ground, has been severely damaged or disappeared in urban areas. As a result, this raises questions regarding how we can better respond to change while using natural systems within the (urban) landscape.

Exploring the unseen, natural forces in the (urban) landscape

In this landscape, humans, flora and fauna, the environment, objects and architecture work together and form one balanced system.
The symbiosis also provides solutions to complex challenges of our time, such as drought, humidity, pollution and endangered flora and fauna.

A diverse collection of works by artists and designers showcases how natural systems are either seamlessly integrated into their creations or poetically brought to life.
