Hidden potential can often be found in the things we overlook.

From Waste to Wonder explores how discarded materials can become valuable resources by transforming bio-waste into new materials, products and playful objects. Through hands-on workshops, visitors discover the principles of circular design and experience how creativity can change the way we look at waste.

Foodie Boulevard takes a different approach by using food as a creative material. Visitors design edible visions of the future, turning ingredients into stories, ideas and conversations about the world they want to create.

Together, these projects invite us to rethink consumption and discover new value in everyday resources.

Reimagining How We Connect

The future is not only shaped by what we create, but also by how we connect with each other.

Net(Anders)Werken explores how existing spaces such as theatres, community centres and public buildings can be reactivated as places for meeting, learning and collaboration. Instead of building more, it investigates how we can use the spaces we already have in new ways.

Cities of Learning explores how learning can move beyond traditional classrooms by recognising skills, experiences and knowledge gained throughout life. Through interactive technologies such as AR, VR and digital badges, visitors discover new ways of learning, sharing and connecting.

Together, these projects reveal the hidden potential of places, people and networks.

Designing Futures Together

A better future is not created alone; it requires participation, dialogue and collective imagination.

Foundation Vredesburo Eindhoven explores how design can contribute to more inclusive and peaceful societies by creating space for voices, stories and perspectives that are often overlooked. Through the Eindhoven–Kobanê dialogue, workshops and reflections on freedom, equality and community, visitors are invited to imagine what a peaceful future could look like.

Together with the other initiatives, the project shows that design is not only about making objects, but also about shaping relationships, systems and the way we live together.
