Life is never static, so why is our furniture? A LOTT OF SPACE creates it’s first circular and adaptable sofa that’s able to grow and transform to meet our ever changing life and needs. A sofa that’s designed for the circular world we’re building together.
A LOTT OF SPACE
As flexible city dwellers we move a lot throughout the years. Except for our furniture. A lot of furniture doesn’t fit our next apartment, it doesn’t fit our next step in life and most of the time it’s not even worth moving with us because of its bad quality and lack on sustainability #fastfurniture.
So, we’ve got to get smarter.
How can we change life for the better one living room at a time?
We started with the most valued furniture in any household: The sofa.

On the one hand the idea was to make a sofa perfect for life in the now. We wanted to change it from a static piece of furniture to an adaptable piece which can easily change and transform with the users needs so it wil always fits their next step in life.
On the other hand we wanted to design a sofa that is good for life in the long run. The adaptable design enables every part to be maintained and repaired without the need of replacing the whole sofa. The high quality materials enable us to re-use and redistribute every module after they're checked, cleaned and fixed properly. At the very end we make sure that all the materials will be recycled.
