Exbitition Design Challenge Onze Energie Ons Landschap from Kunstloc Brabant en SSB

“How can we make a soundproof design, in which energy generation is related to the surrounding nature and also appeals to the imagination?”
This question was the starting point in the design challenge 'Our Energy, Our Landscape' for the highway landscape of the A67 near Strabrechtse Heide. Initiated and organized by Kunstloc Brabant and Staatsbosbeheer in collaboration with The Green Forest.Spatial quality, energy generation, nature and landscape improvement were central to the challenge. Sound barriers in the landscape, you see them everywhere in the Netherlands. They are mainly to mute sound. But can more additional functions be added to it? Designers show the combination of innovation, creativity and strength in the Dutch landscape. How do the different designs relate to each other?
