The Design Intelligence Award is the first international academic award in Industrial Design established in 2015 by the highly respected China Academy of Art. This year the 6th edition called for agencies and companies internationally and from the Netherlands to enter their works and projects.
Design Intelligence Award 2021 presents Dutch Entries from 2021 and past award winners
At the Dutch Design Week 2021, the Design Intelligence Award (DIA) celebrates innovators and entrepreneurs' imagination and inventiveness. During the past years, the DIA collected over more than 30.000 excellent works within four categories: Industrial Equipment, Living Wisdom, Cultural Innovation and Digital Economy from 61 countries and regions worldwide. The DIA provides a platform to accelerate international trade, provide networking opportunities and open commercial opportunities for enterprises.
During the DDW, the Design Intelligence Award and the Foundation Design Promotion in Europa and China exhibits a selection of this year's Dutch entries and last year's award winners. These projects excelled on the DIA's evaluation criteria. Firstly, Principles of Design cover functionality, aesthetics, technicality, user experience and sustainability. Secondly, the Direction of Design, spanning contribution to humanity, industry and the future. And lastly, Impact of Design, focusing on social influence and industrial development.
Expect a surprising and exciting mix of excellent Design entries spanning a broad range of design disciplines and sectors.
