Every individual has something beautiful and should be able and allowed to be completely themselves. Get set… the message is OWN YOUR OWN. SKUA Studio launches their first production, two models in 3 colors from size 35 to size 46. Because everyone should be able to wear heels!
OWN YOUR OWN
The launch is an event to showcase the inclusive shoemodels of SKUA Studio. While the guest enjoy a drink there will be a premiere of a fashion film. The fashion film is a collaboration between SKUA Studio & Tonja Nederlof. Both parties are part of the Driving Dutch Design 2022 and they are happy to use this professionalization to get their message out as designers of the future.
In the fashion film, 6 individuals with their own identity are given shape (LGBTQIA+ friendly). They feel empowered by wearing SKUA Studio heels. Heels that are not part of the fast fashion industry. We produce high quality individual models and not in seasons! This is how we build a sustainable shoe collection.
Besides showing to a large audience, we want to achieve much more with this launch. We want to bring together everything we've done so far. More makers are involved in developing this film. The models are real people who run into real social issues in their lives. We want to celebrate the power of this collective of beautiful people and collaborations through this fashion film.
