Community Couture is an attempt to bring multiple perspectives together, with garments serving as a source of individual stories, collective experiences, shared goals, history and hopes for the future.

Community Couture - Clothes made to carry stories, between us, through places and time.

Community Couture is an attempt to bring multiple perspectives together, with garments serving as a source of individual stories, collective experiences, shared goals, history and hopes for the future.

Last year, we organised Community Couture workshops, where participants had the opportunity to tell us 'WHAT MATTERS' to them through colours, shapes, and words. We have collected hundreds of contributions.

On this DDW, we will present one-off collectively made Community Couture garments which preserve, share and honour the thoughts of people who contributed last year. Discover what matters to others and learn how to express your care for them through craft.
