Draagbaar Plezier is a representation of my own making/playing fun.
The wearable items are made from old furniture fabrics, which I then made into a puzzle-like patchwork. This in combination with screen printing and small embroidery stitches.
My tip to you: think about your own pleasure more often. Enjoy!
For me, playing is a way to feel freedom, to think about nothing and just do it. Being open-minded, having no direction, no goal/aimless and immoderateness are the core elements of my working method.
Draagbaar Plezier is about my search for aesthetics through my framed play.
This is my mature way of playing, working intuitively with frames. Enjoying the design process is what is important to me.
