The origins of GIO Good Industrial Design Awards, the only Dutch design professional design award, date back to 1986. Each year the independent jury appraises the best products. In six categories, manufacturers and designers can enter their products. The jury only awards a GIO to products with a high design quality. The best products of a category are awarded the “Special Award for Excellence”. This year all products will be on display in Eindhoven during the entire Dutch Design Week and later on in Cube design museum in Kerkrade. In december all Awards be announced in Cube Design Museum.
