I see fashion as a way of looking at and responding to society. This collection, ‘Need to play’ , is an antidote to the daily pressures and stress, both in society as well as in design methods.
My collection of expressive colors, collages, shapes, prints and textiles display a world of endless possibilities and joyful interactions. By thinking, manipulating and adapting rules I create my own playground. A playground that is joyful and optimistic

About Studio Wantia
Studio Wantia is founded by Sophie Wantia. She is a visual artist, fashion and print designer who sees fashion as a way of looking at and responding to society. By collaging a graphic and playful dialogue between the body and clothes, she seeks for optimism and play. Her extensive research, intuition and openminded view leads to creating her own worlds, where she plays with recognition and the unknown.
