Aleksandra Gaca

Taking a new approach to weaving techniques, designer Aleksandra Gaca created Woven Braids, a new series of woven fabrics, which will be on view at Kazerne, as part of the exhibition CIRCULAR>MATERIALISTS - show revolving around the theme of sustainable design.

Organically derived from previous work, and a fascination and interest in traditional textile techniques, textile designer Aleksandra did extensive research into braid patterns and constructions, which she translated into a new series of woven fabrics
