'martens and martens' is a collaboration between Karel, Klaartje, Diederik and Aagje Martens. We present a series of products that have previously been shown as projects in exhibitions but never presented as individual products.

'martens and martens' presents: A series of products based on the same design principle. Karel Martens applies an algorithm to create images in lines or icons. 9 line widths can be arranged to a specific image, pattern or random sequence. The icon patter

About martens and martens

'martens and martens' is a design studio formed by Karel, Klaartje, Diederik and Aagje Martens. Different disciplines come together and form a family. Working on a variety of assignments that are self-generated and given by customers. Basically the work is graphically related and expresses itself from book design to an architectural application, textile and product design.
