Aeon - Privacy by Design
Exploring the user experience of data in the context of privacy and the role of designers in it
Hosted by Bureau Moeilijke DingenThis project is now archived and was part of DDW20
Privacy is often stuck between discussions of ethics and compliance. What if we could make privacy tangible and easy-to-use for citizens? Aeon is an app that gather traces you have left on the internet. Now yours, you are free to delete, modify and add to the gathered data.
In the past decade, at least 12B personal accounts were stolen. Moreover, large platforms increasingly turn to surveillance to steer your attention and guide your interactions. Personal data has become a commodity.
Things are changing, however. Thanks to
