This project is now archived and was part of DDW20

The focus of the project ‚Fractal Chaos‘ has been put on exploring repeatable yet unpredictable shapes. The goal was to generate shapes not through artificially planned, conceptualized, classic design processes but through natural force impact.
Natural pattern shape our world. In the field of Design we like to cite them artificially. Most likely through algorithmic procedures. These purely mathematic approaches' lack of imperfection often results in generic and predictable aesthetics. 'Fra

About Lara Bohe

Lara Bohe is a design student at HfG Offenbach. Her major interests lie in the intersection of parametric design, material innovation and artificial movement. During her studies, she spent 6 months at Tongji University, Shanghai, where she had the chance to deepen her knowledge in data visualization and research writing. Lara's projects often have an artistic appearance, but are based on scientific interests. In spring 2021 Lara will be finishing her studies with a diploma degree.
