KUNST-S wants to amaze consumers with a material we throw away every day. We want to show the pure beauty of plastic waste and create awareness about how we treat this special material. This by giving plastic waste visual aspects that go hand in hand with stone, marble and ceramics.

Used plastics with the visuel aspects of stone, marble and ceramics!

KUNST-S is a Design Studio that focuses on the hidden beauty of used plastics! KUNST-S arose from Lisanne's (Founder) great interest in the plastic industry. This interest started early, since her father has been working in the plastics industry for more than 30 years, and this gave her the opportunity to go along to fairs and factories at an early age. For this reason, Lisanne has spent the last few years studying production techniques and methods for processing plastic waste. Through enthusiasm, technical knowledge and contacts within the industry, this unique process was born. By applying this process the material cannot be traced back to plastic or plastic waste. This offers KUNST-S the possibility to play with the eye of the consumer and create a completely unbiased image. Because of this KUNST-S expects to be able to put used plastic on an equal footing with other (high quality) materials such as stone, wood and ceramics!
