Het Lokaal is an exhibition that shares the now and tomorrow of the St Joseph area in Doornakkers. This year we prepared one classroom to visit, a walk through the old schoolyard and a glimpse of the future we envision here. Het Lokaal presents Bron van Doen's civic service design work in the city.

Social Concept Store

This pop-up store concept showcases the social products and services of diverse volunteer organisations in Eindhoven in order to promote the initiatives, raise awareness and recruit new participants and volunteers.

Uit de Buurtfabriek

Uit de Buurtfabriek is a model social enterprise that merges design with supporting the local community and its inhabitants through building furniture. See a collection of their inspiring, most recent work during Dutch Design Week.

About Bron van Doen

Bron van Doen is a service design studio by designers Ron Krielen and Minsung Wang. How can design make a difference in a city? How can it be useful for its many inhabitants? And how can diverse people work together towards tangible, mutually beneficial outcomes? They are working on projects related to these questions, especially for Eindhoven and its inhabitants, and are constantly looking for new opportunities to work in this city as well as others.
