During DDW22, Victor de Bie will present ‘CHEEKY’, a collection of hand-tufted, star-shaped rugs derived from the characters of his illustrative artworks.

a galaxy of star-shaped rugs

Selecting various elements from his drawings, Victor intuitively gives them an immediate function. This time, he chose the star shape, which often marks the cheeks of his elongated clownish figures. Victor enlarged these elements into an abstract illustrative nature scene of star-shaped rugs, creating a soft, intimate and playful room in a room.
