Imaginary Bliss

The liquid, glistening metal flows over the ceramic shapes, burning it’s skin. Smoke arises, the ceramics whisper.

Imaginary Bliss

The liquid, glistening metal flows over the ceramic shapes, burning it’s skin. Smoke arises, the ceramics whisper. I observe, I listen, I let go of control. The inspiration for this project arose during a journey where ornaments evoked a sense of wonder and gratitude. I enter into a dialogue with the characteristics of material and my emotions. I document all these observations by collecting notes, photos, objects and material. I do this to understand the feeling and to transform into an image where I challenge myself to play with control and feeling. I enter into a dialogue with the characteristics of the material that even the cracks obtain value.
