Instant death or slow and painful decline?

Dimethylcadmium is a volatile organic compound. It absorbs instantly into the bloodstream and rips apart the organs that need the highest supply of blood, including the heart and the lungs. A very small amount is instantly lethal. Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a chemical compound we encounter every day. In fact we expel it in each breath we take. It is also a greenhouse gas, which has risen steadily in our atmosphere mainly due to burning fossil fuels, causing global warming and climate change as well as ocean acidification.
