Plastikos

Plastic started as the symbol of modernization, as an indestructible miracle-material. But in time, it became a symbol of our throw-away society. It’s all around us, and it doesn’t perish. We eat, drink, and breathe in 5 grams of plastic each day. That’s the weight of one debit card. The Plastikos collection consists of jewelry designed to experience, made of plastic cards. With this collection, I aim to raise awareness on how easily we purchase plastic products and get rid of them. Do you really need all that you buy?
