The team: "Skônne mensen"
What happens if personal growth is the profit of a furniture label instead of money? Our answer: Skôn things happen! We recycle materials as resources for our furniture, designed by students of St Lucas and based on the skills of our people. And sell them for a fair price, so anyone could buy them.
About SMO regio Helmond
SMO is a welfare organisation, supporting homeless people. We help them to find a place for themselves to live and to become part of society again.
We support people in their own house, or they stay with us for a short while or a longer term. People who don't already have (or find) a job work in our Jobfactory or in our public garden: "The Bundertjes". We also have a shop called Super Sociaal, where about 1500 people with a limited budget can buy their daily groceries with little money.
